From the files...

Here are some pictures of the Europe trip. Sorry no prose or funny lines. Portland has been way to hot to even think. 107 degrees is so not right. We bought a small air conditioner for the bedroom so for the past week we have not left the bedroom.

We stopped in Denver to see the she-bear. The she-bear was nice enough to let us sleep in her bedroom and while there we saw a great sunset.

Budapest was up next and it was a top 10 of the trip to pull up to where Katie would be singing and see this...
Bartok National Concert Hall in Budapest - July 2009

This sign was in a garden in Vienna. For those of you who don't speak German the loose translation is "those who feed the pigeons feed the rats". I knew I didn't like pigeons for a reason.
Vienna - July 2009

When I saw this "fire truck" I realized that Americans really do have to make things bigger just because they can.

Litomysl - July 2009

After the Litomysl concert we spent some time walking around Brno, Czech Republic. I must admit that the model the sculpture used was very handsome.

Great B' art in Brno - July 2009

In Prague we found another sculpture in a church. We probably shouldn't be doing this in a church. I hope the lightning can't reach us here in Portland.

K' art in Prague - July 2009

There were more EXPENSIVE cars than I thought possible in Europe. Here is a beautiful Bentley. Prague - July 2009

The last concert in Prague I committed the ultimate sin and took some pictures of Katie. She is 2nd row from the top and 2nd from the left.

After the last concert in Prague we went on a river cruise. It was the first time I was not hot on the whole trip so I enjoyed being out on top and taking pictures of the scenery.

Vltava River in Prague - July 2009

I definately need to get back to Vienna and see some more of Europe. Anybody else want to go along in a couple of years?
